Continence Care

In the Netherlands approximately 1 million people suffer from continence problems; this is about 1 in 20 people. 75% is female and 25% male. Incontinence is not being able to control stool or urine. It is usually caused by a physical condition, for instance a neurological condition, after a surgical procedure or aging. Sometimes it is the other way around then it is called constipation and urine retention.
